Jul 26,  · 35 years ago today, Metallica released their first album called “Kill ‘Em All”. This album is one of the first thrash metal albums of history. Four of the tracks in the album were written by Dave Mustaine. Unfortunately, Dave was fired from the band before this album came out.

While Kill 'Em All is the weakest of Metallica's first four efforts without question, it's a great album that will warrant many listens for Metallica fans like myself. Production is pretty fuzzy, but this album was recorded on a budget of approximately $12 that Lars probably stole from his mom's purse so I couldn't expect it to be a masterpiece.
